Achilles Training aims to provide high quality Personal Training Services and support to ensure your reaching your health and fitness goals in a holistic and sustainable way that suits the unique circumstances of your life.  

Everybody has a potential Achilles Heel when it comes to his or her health and fitness goals, but we can rise above these challenges and in a responsible way and ensure that this potential Achilles Heel doesn’t prevent you from achieving those goals.  

 

We will establish those important baselines relevant to your goals before conducting that first session and re-assess them on a regular basis to keep you accountable and on track with your goals.   The philosophy of Achilles Training is very much so about starting from the point of accepting where you are at any point in time with your health and fitness and moving toward better health and fitness goals with that positive mindset.

Certified Fitness Trainer and Founder

I grew up in Dungog, with time spent in Clarence Town and Newcastle, before eventually returning to Dungog where I now call home. Family and community have always been at the heart of who I am. As the eldest of seven children, I learned early on the importance of caring for others. Two of my siblings were diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia—a rare genetic condition. Supporting them through their challenges shaped my values of resilience, compassion, and the power of simply being present for others.

 

My own journey hasn’t been without struggles, and experience has taught me the strength of choosing to move forward rather than dwelling on the past. These life lessons continue to shape how I support my clients—meeting them where they’re at, listening without judgment, and helping them build the strength and confidence to overcome their own challenges.

 

At Achilles Training, I bring all these life experiences together. I understand that health and fitness isn’t just about physical strength—it’s about resilience, mental wellbeing, and creating a life that feels balanced and fulfilling. I’m passionate about helping every client become stronger, healthier, and more confident, while also learning from them along the way.

I’m excited about the future and all it holds—for myself, my family, and the amazing clients I get to work with every day.
